Important dates to know for the Canton Pool

Officers are at the pool again, if anyone needs a storm shelter.

Starting tomorrow morning at 6:30 the old sale barn parking lot will be open for tree and branch drop off.

The pool bath house is open if you need shelter during the storm. Officers are there now.

City crews will be spraying for mosquitoes Thursday night (07/17/25) depending on weather conditions.

City Offices will be closed on Friday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day. Happy Independence Day from all of us with the City of Canton!

Just a reminder City Wide Clean up starts on Monday July 7th. If you need assistance with picking up item's (must be present for items to be picked up) please call City Hall at, 605-987-2881 to place your name on the list. If you are interested in volunteering to assist with picking up items call City Hall to sign up.

CITY-WIDE CLEAN-UP 2025 July 7th through 12th 8:00AM to 5:00PM. July 9th and 11th 6:00PM to 8:00PM, at the Rubble Site for City of Canton Residents.

City offices will be closed Thursday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth.

Blue Peak will be upgrading the phone lines on Wednesday June 18th from 10:00 am-12:00 pm at City Hall. You can expect no phones at that time. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Water service will be temporarily interrupted in the area of Milwaukee to Dakota on Fourth Street & Fourth to Fifth Streets on Milawaukee. Once water is restored, if your water is discolored, run the cold water tap for 5 – 10 minutes and it should clear up. We apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you!

Due to the rain, Chautauqua Park is closed for tree drop off at this time. The Rubble site is open today (Tuesday May 20th) in addition to summer hours for tree drop off.
