The Canton Rec program will begin next Monday, June 3rd. It will be held primarily at Kennedy Park. A tentative schedule for the summer will be posted later this week. Kids should make sure to wear athletic shoes and comfortable clothes. With the weather getting warmer, it may also be a good idea to bring a water bottle. The first day of the program the kids won’t need to bring anything extra as we will be getting to know everyone and play some fun games. Once the schedule is posted, kids should bring baseball/softball gloves on days those activities are scheduled.
The following is the day and times for each age group:
5/6 year olds- Monday/Wednesday from 9-10:30am
7/8 year olds- Monday/Wednesday from 10:30-12pm
9/10 year olds- Tuesday/Thursday from 9-10:30am
11/12 year olds- Tuesday/Thursday from 10:30-12pm

SCAM ALERT!
We received a call from a Canton resident saying she received a call from a person claiming to be the Canton Chief of Police, Dave Miller. The caller stated the number that showed up was 605-987-5612, which is the Canton Police Department's number however Dave Miller retired 5 years ago. The caller was aware of this and knew that it was a scam and ended the conversation.
Never give out personal information if you are unsure of who you
are talking to.
Any questions or concerns, contact the Canton Police Department at 605-987-5612.
